Yoga with children

Mindful practice and fun movements while exploring breath, mind, Body and heart

I love practicing with children and enjoy spending time with them. We open our practice with a group circle and everyone shares what is on the mat that day, followed by a short meditation. We explore yoga asanas in a playful way, build up our flow together and will end the movement part with a fun game. Savasana is practiced with a colorful visualization or with reading of texts or books. Often I offer songs and chants which is beautiful to perform with the group and opening our hearts - exploring rhythm, playing instruments and repeating mantras are a wonderful meditation to enjoy.

Currently I am serving at lovely PRESCHOOLS in LOS ANGELES in GERMAN and in ENGLISH language. I am also serving with private groups, family advisory and events.

I am using principles and values of Waldorf education, even though I am not certified specifically, and work with the focus on children’s powers and energies following the seasonal events and wonders.

Its my passion and my call to share the beautiful practice of yoga, or if your community prefers: mindful movement.

Instead of saying, “I can´t do my spiritual practices because I have children”, you say,

“My children are my spiritual practice.”
