more About my Classes

Lets practice togetheR.

Welcome and thank you for your interest! My offerings are available online and in person in Los Angeles area.

sunday with love.

What to expect? Awww, it`s the weekend. Lets practice together and enjoy the movement of body and breath. Sink into the practice and find the unity of body, mind, breath and soul. The classes are a flow of classic and dynamic body movement and sequencing, guided breath and meditation. We end with an extended Savasana and close with a Mantra.

Is this class accessible for everyBODY and level? Yogis with yoga understanding and first experiences are welcome. The class is powerful, but all postures (asanas) are offered for every practice level. Absolute beginners might feel overwhelmed here since we are expecting basic knowledge of basic postures.

What to prepare? Wear comfortable clothes, have a yoga mat ready and your screen/device straight in front of you. Have yoga blocks or some books as prop handy as well as a blanket to keep you warm in Savasana.

Good night Club.

What to expect? To make this calming and restoring yoga practice available for everyones own good night routines and time schedules, I am offering 45-60 minutes video classes. For all new friends who are interested please check in with me first, since I am generally not a big fan of video practices and want to make sure you receive the safe and nourishing practice you are expecting.

What to expect? After checking in, grounding, warming up with gentle movement and slowing down with our breath, we simply do nothing but connect with our body, heart, mind and soul! We hang out and hold poses for longer periods while our bodies are fully supported by blankets, blocks and pillows/bolsters. In these positions the muscles can fully release and relax. Your nervous system switches into a rest-and-digest state where the body restores and natural healing powers become active. We stay awake and open up for all that show up, emotions, feelings, sensations that arise. I will guide you through a meditation before we transition back into the outer world.

Is this class accessible for everyBODY and level? Yes, all poses are accessible and most of them will be supported with props. This class is beginner friendly! As much as I know about you, your body and possible limitations or injuries the better I can address adjustments.

What to prepare? Please wear warm and cozy clothes, maybe already your pajama. Your video and sound on zoom will be off and muted, so you can enjoy your privacy in your space. Prepare your setup on a yoga mat or carpet/rug (not in bed). You will need (1) a few pillows, (2) yoga bolster or one long, firm pillow, maybe you have (3) yoga blocks or use books, (4) one or two blankets and (5) an eye pillow or scarf to cover your eyes. We also need a (6) chair with back rest. Set up a nice, relaxing space for yourself.

One commitment for highest result: you go offline after class right away, no news, no social media, no mails!

When? Your call! Videos or audio guidance are available here under katyoga.club/good-night. Please check in with me to receive the password.

Gentle Movement.

What to expect? 60 minutes of gentle yoga movement and breathing with an extended part of stretching and unwinding. We close our practice with a 20 minutes guided intuitive meditation. Connect to your heart and experience the power of love and peace within you.

Is this class accessible for everyBODY and level? This is for all yogis of all levels and ages.

What to prepare? Comfortable clothes, yoga mat or rug/carpet, blanket, blocks or books, scarf/belt and a firm pillow. Bring a chair.

HOME OFFICE ROUTINE.

What to expect? We meet in the mornings at 7am for 20 minutes waking up your body and practicing Sun Salutations which will be gentle or if you choose so, more challenging.

More details - Not much talking, but moving, stretching and as I have heard from some of you, getting the nice kick in your butts to do some movements in the morning! At 7pm (19 Uhr) I call you again for Feierabend with Plank the Curve. This is for fun, for starting and closing your work day, maybe to establish your own routines at home and for sure for community that supports you.

Is this class accessible for everyBODY and level? Yes, sun salutation will be offered ini different variations. Plank the Curve is accessible, but definitely a strengthening practice (see Plank the Curve).

What to prepare? Be awake, show up as you like, keep your video off in the mornings. Shine your power in the evenings on the mat with comfortable clothes.

Ongoing private classes and groups. More details….

Plank The curve.

What to expect? Plank and plank variations. Exercises to strengthen your core (and mind).

9 minutes - Plank flow, accessible for all training levels

+ warm up, cool down, stretching

= 15-20 minutes

More details - Plank has so many benefits: with plank and its variations you are not only strengthening your core, your arms, shoulders, legs and glutes, also your mind will be challenged. Already after a few days you can feel the strength that is built up in your muscles.

The flow from the first week is the base on which we built up the plank sequence in the second week. To get the best results from this practice, please show up daily. In case you miss a day I will provide you with a video I record on monday of each week. Saturday we rest with the powerful flow, but will stretch the major parts of your body that are involved in the plank flow.

Am I strong enough? Is this class accessible for everyBODY and level? OF COURSE YOU ARE! But first of all you have to be strong and disciplined enough to log into zoom daily for two weeks. The plank exercises are accessible for every training level. So even if you are new to plank practices or you’ve had a longer break from plank, you will find your practice here as well as you, who are more advanced.

It definitely is a powerful practice and I recommend it for every level!

Guided Intuitive Meditation.

What to expect? I guide you, I support you, I hold you. You and your body already know what feels good and relaxing, I support you to remember and to connect.

Is this class accessible for everyBODY and level? Yes, absolutely!

What to prepare? Come as you are, no equipment, no candles, no Lotuspose needed! The classes might be in German or English, depending on the friends who show up.

When? Private group classes, please request here
